Over the past couple years, I’ve had the amazing fortune to work with editors from coast-to-coast and across at least one border. But one thing that continues to excite me is how often the road leads right back home to Pennsylvania.
Most recently, that was the story as I jumped up and down celebrating the acceptance of my workplace horror story, “Daydreams and Nightmares,” releasing later this month as part of Ps and Qs Publishing’s Spirits and Spreadsheets.
Maybe there’s something in the water around here, but my state has played home base for greats like George A. Romero and M. Night Shyamalan. And with Gettysburg about half an hour from my house, there are those who contend we’re one of the more haunted states in the union, too. The more I write, the more I come to realize how my home bursts with talented people involved in every aspect of the genre. I’ve fallen in love with this place all over again.
But back to Ps and Qs Publishing, based out of Eerie, PA. While you’re waiting for Spirits and Spreadsheets to debut, they have plenty of other anthologies to whet your appetite, including the first part of the two-volume workplace-horror set, Gauges and Ghouls.

Other anthologies from Ps and Qs Publishing!
Keep an eye out for more about “Daydreams and Nightmares” and Spirits and Spreadsheets over the next couple weeks. I’m excited to share this one. I literally bled for it, more than once over the last twenty-five years, but the emotional pain was so much more intense. Can’t wait to share it with you!
